A warm welcome. I am married to Joe and together we live a blessed semi-rural life with our two fur babies and a myriad feathered and scaly creatures as well as lots of wildlife, in our beautiful home. I love to spend family time, read, practise yoga, dance, act, meditate, potter in our garden, watch old movies (faves are Audrey Hepburn, Cary Grant and Doris Day), and new (Sandra Bullock I love) and live simply.
My site provides the personal as well as links to the professional as it important to me that each compliments the other.
Sensing the Simple Life
My blog, Sensing the Simple Life provides a place to take a relaxing break, be inspired, and be grateful for the wonders and benefits of a simple life; all from a unique autistic perspective.
I am a childhood cancer survivor, diagnosed autistic, and have been through myriad challenges; physical, academic and emotional in recent years. I have come to realise the hard way that simplicity is key to enjoying life. I am still working on it!

Life is full of beauty. Notice it. Notice the bumble bee, the small child, and the smiling faces. Smell the rain, and feel the wind. Live your life to the fullest potential, and fight for your dreams.

Husband Joe, Fur Babies Holly and Rosie
I am fortunate to have such a loving and supportive family (fur babies included). Childhood cancer took away some choice but shaped who I am, and I am grateful for the life I have built with my family and friends.
I am inspired every day: by people, images, words, music, and nature... especially rainbows, autumn and the smell of rain and freshly mown grass
